How to make smoked Jalapeño Poppers on your REC TEC Wood Pellet Grill. We've got a simple and delicious appetizer that will wow your guests! The Jalapeños were placed on a REC TEC Grilling Mat to make getting them on and off the grill easier. INGREDIENTS: 12 Jalapeños 8oz Cream cheese 1lb Pork sausage 1lb thin cut bacon INSTRUCTIONS: Pre-heat the REC TEC to 275ºF. Core jalapeños and cut in half lengthwise then set aside. Brown sausage and let cool. Mix sausage with cream cheese. Stuff mixture into jalapeño. Wrap bacon around jalapeño and secure with a toothpick. NOTES: The cooking temp and time depends on how you like your bacon. Try cooking low and slow at 275ºF for 1½ hours. Try cooking at high heat around 375ºF for 45 minutes.
